Shannon Shiang creates communities. She's an artist who believes arts and entertainment can create change — and a maker of bespoke fine jewelry, art direction, and the live experiences where artists and audiences meet.
Born an artist, it wasn't until an experience in the Nevada desert in 2009 that she saw the full potential of jewelry as a form of miniature sculpture — weaving metal, gems, and intention together.
Taiwanese roots — a maker shaped by craft, community, and a love of the handmade.
The work is about people.
She creates communities. As an artist, she believes arts and entertainment can create social change — especially now, when AI and a feed full of "perfect" faces can leave people feeling they're not good enough. Her work is the counterweight — handmade, in person, built alongside other artists.
The network runs deep and wide — live painters, circus performers, tarot readers, photographers, musicians, producers and DJs, set and stage designers, stylists, fashion and custom hats, snake charmers. You name it. A two-story sculpture that reads BELIEVE, a bespoke ring, lighting, sound, a neon piece, a commission of your own — the roster is endless.
She produces events, too — panel discussions, showcases, and immersive experiences — across New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Las Vegas, and Austin, in partnership with Art With Me, Sponstar, and Dusty Diamonds Collective.
